Bratislava was held a presentation of the book by Russian authors "Russia.
XX century. A brief chronicle of wars, revolutions and conflicts. "
Authors of the book - President of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture Professor I.I.Bondarenko and first vice-President of the Fund D.V. Klimov, made a brief story about the content and history of the writing of the book. Exciting content, unique illustrations, exploratory publications - all this has caused genuine interest among the audience. New facts about the Great Patriotic War have caused a lot of questions from the audience.
The book contains concrete facts of Russia's participation in military operations in the 20th century, given their unified list in chronological order. In the book was an attempt to analyze on the big historical material the origins of the Russian state involvement in different kinds of armed conflicts. The book is designed for a wide range of readers interested in military history and foreign policy. The publication can be used as a tutorial in the study of the recent history in schools and in higher educational institutions.
The book was published in Bratislava and dedicated to the
memory of Russian writer and publicist Sergej Chelemendik.
The event was attended by representatives of the embassies of the Russian Federation and Belarus in the Slovak Republic, Russian compatriots, members of the Russian Center in Bratislava of the Fund "Russian World" and the Slovak public. The event was covered in the Slovak media.
