On April 1, 2022, regular classes for children from Ukraine were held to study the Slovak language with the support of teachers from the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture, the Foundation of Ukrainian Literature and Culture, the "Spektr"and "Mova Kalinova" language schools, and the Private Slavic Gymnasium in Bratislava.Behind this is the great work of both the above organizations and every child who finds in himself the desire, perseverance and desire not only to live in Slovakia, but also to integrate and learn a difficult language. Classes are conducted by professional teachers who focus on educational material developed specifically for children of foreigners in order to involve them in the educational process in the Slovak Republic.
This time the classes were devoted to getting acquainted with the vocabulary of such an important topic in the life of every person-family. The children got acquainted with the words denoting family members, learned to represent their family. Children diligently and with pleasure wrote down new words for them, pronounced and read them several times, they easily memorized whole phrases.
The guys are motivated and understand well that without knowing the language it is impossible to communicate with people, make acquaintances and friends, and feel confident.
