On June 8, 2022, teachers from the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture and from the Foundation of Ukrainian Literature and Culture held an open lesson and introduced children and library visitors to the work of the famous writer JK Rowling (b. July 31, 1965). J. K. Rowling is a British writer, screenwriter and film producer, best known as the author of the Harry Potter series of novels. During the event, young readers learned interesting facts from the biography of JK Rowling, discovered the wonderful world of Harry Potter and fantastic creatures, and also revealed the images of the heroes of the works.The European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture and the Foundation of Ukrainian Literature and Culture invite you to visit the library and immerse yourself in the magical world of Harry Potter and fantastic creatures, where the world of magic, adventure, fantasy and the world of new knowledge reigns!
"Fantastic Creatures and Where to Find Them"
J.K. Rowling pioneered the fictional book genre by offering the reader a plot of events set 70 years before Harry Potter. The book "Fantastic Creatures and Where to Find Them" is one of the required textbooks at Hogwarts school in the discipline "Caring for Magical Creatures". It is not difficult to guess that the exciting adventures described by a fictional author instantly became a bestseller and the goal of eminent directors. The film adaptation has collected prestigious awards, and Harry Potter fans have new favorites.
"Fantastic Creatures: The Crimes of Grindelwald"
This edition includes the original script for the second part of the epic about fantastic creatures. The events in the book "Fantastic Creatures: The Crimes of Grindelwald" unfold a few months after the first story and are transferred to another city, and then completely to Hogwarts. The main confrontation takes place between Harry Potter and Voldemort, who wants to capture and enslave the magical world. It would seem that the classic story of the struggle between good and evil, what is unique? The books would not have been successful if not for the unique style of JK Rowling, describing the smallest details, captivating with the realism and charm of the characters. A series of novels can be considered exclusively fantasy, it has connected many genres, including detective, adventure, thriller. Initially, the novel was aimed at a children's audience, but as the characters grew older, potential readers grew, and the storyline itself became more intricate and complex.
