On October 28-29, 2022, in Slovakia, not far from the town of Ružomberok, the traditional XI International Festival "Russian Song over the Danube" was held.This year, Russian folk song performers, sonorous accordionists, ensembles, soloists and duets came from the Czech Republic, Poland and various parts of Slovakia.
Golden autumn, the sun and the picturesque nature of the resort place supported the friendly atmosphere of the festival. Folk and modern songs were played, festival guests of all ages were invited to master classes and play areas, to a table laid with refreshments.
On behalf of the European Foundation for Slavic Literature and Culture, the finalists of the festival were presented with memorable gifts, sweet prizes and Diplomas for their contribution to the development of Slavic culture.
In each song that sounded at the festival, there were lines about the homeland, about earth and sky, about the sun, about friendship and peace.
