On the bank of the longest Slovak river Váh in the picturesque village Šoporňa was traditionally held the eighth year of the Film camp, which took place also thanks to the Fund for the Promotion of the Culture of National Minorities in Slovakia.These were days filled with direct insight into the film industry. Campers learned step-by-step the basics of the art of filmmaking in practice. They learned how to write a script, learned the work of a director, cameraman, actor, editor and other professions. During their stay in the camp, six cartoons were made under the guidance of teacher Mirat Urazaev. The director Ivan Zelenin also did professional filming together with the children. Kids gained invaluable experience in film production during practical courses and filming as part of the educational programme. Excursions to museums and the surrounding area broadened their horizons and also strengthened their appetite for travel and new knowledge.
