On January 10, 2024, an exhibition of books entitled “Personality. Creation. Life".The exhibition presents books from the oldest Russian book series, “The Life of Remarkable People,” and a 12-volume collection of books from the “Russian Writers in Orthodoxy” series. These two series can be called a historical and biographical chronicle dedicated to people whose ideas and actions have changed, are changing and will change the self-awareness of many generations.
It should be noted that the books in the series “Russian Writers in Orthodoxy” about the works of Dostoevsky, Gogol, Tyutchev, Pushkin, Yesenin, Sholokhov, Lomonosov and others are distributed exclusively free of charge; they are not in the trading network. The Library of the European Foundation for Slavic Literature and Culture is the proud owner of this unique publication. A new look at the life and work of the classics will be of interest not only to specialists, but also to interested readers. By visiting the exhibition, you will get acquainted with the history of the creation of book series, with the authors and biographies of famous people.
