On the 22d of February 2017 in the Russian center of Bratislava, at the European Fund of Slavic Literature and Culture, was held an exhibition of books on the subject of "History of Russia by the eyes of contemporaries."
The exposition was composed of books, widely represented in the library of the Russian Center on the subject. Perfectly published tomes on the history of the Russian state, books about the life of state rulers and noble families, scientific papers of historians and popular publications have been exposed for a wide review and acquaintance. Russian Center Library has the fundamental works of such writers and researchers like S.M. Soloviev, N.M. Karamzin, V.O. Klyuchevskii. These books are exhibited and allow you to touch the primary source of knowledge, to delve into the history.
The opening ceremony was attended by the artist-designer of books from Moscow A.Y. Nikulin, who is the author-designer of many famous books and publications. He immediately found several of his books on the shelves of Russian Center library. One of them was about the life of Russian historian N.M. Karamzin which was also presented at the exhibition.
Simultaneously with the opening of the exhibition in the Russian center were held negotiations with a representative of the Moscow State Art and Industry Academy named after Stroganov - professor L.V. Zhelondievskaya on joint programs on cultural exchange. In the process of communicating the artist A.Y. Nikulin shared his experience in designing of books.
