EFSPaK at the Opening of the "Week of the Russian Language" in Foreign Countries

On November 29, the solemn opening of the "Week of the Russian Language" in foreign countries took place. The project was initiated by the government of Yugra and universities from this Siberian region. This year, it is dedicated to the synthesis of the Russian language with one of the forms of art. Each university in Yugra represents a specific art form in its events.

The project's goal is to involve foreign participants in studying the Russian language, stimulate cognitive interest through various tools, exchange theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the study of the Russian language, and share methodological developments and recommendations in this field.

The opening of the Week was attended by representatives of executive bodies, educational and public organizations of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra, Rossotrudnichestvo, foreign partner universities, schools with Russian-language teaching, Russian Centers for Science and Culture abroad, and compatriots. The event was broadcast live on Yugra television.

The President of EFSPaK, Prof. I.I. Bondarenko, delivered an online address at the opening. He emphasized the necessity of uniting efforts to support the Russian language and culture, spoke about the ongoing "Week of the Russian Language" in Slovakia, and revealed the foundation's potential and opportunities to the participants. He also expressed hope for further collaboration with Surgut State Pedagogical University. Prof. J. Dolnik, Chairman of the Slovak-Czech section of Russophiles, supported the President of EFSPaK during the meeting's broadcast from the Aircraft conference hall.
