On the 16th of March 2017 at the Russian Center in Bratislava at the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture was held a seminar on "The history and architecture of the Moscow Kremlin", dedicated to its 530th birthday. The seminar was conducted for students of Russian language courses with the purpose of expanding vocabulary and their acquaintance with Russian history and culture.
The presentation was prepared by Leticia Gazzola, a graduate of the State University of Ca Foscari (Venice), who is taking an internship in the Russian language at the Russian Center. She was very enthusiastic about the architectural ensemble of the Kremlin, because in the 16th century it was built by Italian architects. The listeners with a big interest recognized the history of the construction and revival of the Moscow Kremlin, got acquainted with its architecture and the treasures of museums.
First it was a wooden Kremlin, then - white stone Kremlin, and finally – from a red brick. Today the Moscow Kremlin is one of the most beautiful architectural structures in the world.
The participants listened to a lecture on the history of the Moscow Kremlin, which is closely connected with the events of medieval Rus, the opposition of the French army, and the liberation struggle of the Russian people. The presentation was accompanied by beautiful views of the Kremlin and musical accompaniment.
