The European Foundation for Slavic Literature and Culture continues its collaboration with the Russian editorial team of Radio Slovakia International. This year, students from bilingual gymnasiums studying the Russian language have already participated in two joint projects: in winter, they wrote and recorded their Christmas stories in the studio, and in spring – as part of the Days of the Russian Language organized by our foundation – they visited Slovak Radio on an excursion and gave interviews. These events left vivid and unforgettable impressions on the gymnasium students, their teachers, and parents.
The desire to continue creating and collaborating with the radio editors was so strong that a new task awaits the students in April – writing stories about Easter celebrations. How is this bright holiday celebrated in families? How do Catholic and Orthodox traditions intertwine? What does Easter mean to modern schoolchildren? Answers to these questions will be heard in the festive radio broadcasts.
Currently, the young authors are already submitting their works to the foundation. We eagerly await new exciting stories!
Wishing everyone a bright Easter and a warm spring!
