20.03.2017 in the ancient town of Nowe Zamky, in the exhibition hall of the Imperial-royal arena was held an exhibition of paintings by Russian, Slovak and Ukrainian artists. This is not the first exhibition with this name. Organizers make a whole series of travelling exhibitions in the cities of Slovakia, inviting artists to participate.
The initiators of the action were the Slovak public organization Mirelub, the Russian Center in Bratislava of the "Russian World" Foundation, the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture and also with the active support of the mayor of the city.
The exposition of the exhibition was located in the most beautiful exhibition hall, which was opened after the reconstruction, conducted by the administration of the city of Nové Zamky. The hall is located in a historical building, an architectural monument, in which formerly were housed the Imperial-royal arena and hussar barracks.
The exhibition is held under the patronage of the mayor - Otokar Klein, a great connoisseur and active propagandist of culture and a professional singer. In his speech, he welcomed participants and guests of the exhibition, said that the exhibition complex is located in the center of the city, actively visited by residents and is a cult place for the townspeople. The hall has already been prepared for the reception of 600 delegates of the international conference, in front of whom the exhibits will be presented. He also thanked the organizers for the excellent exhibition that represents the art of the three Slavic countries.
The Russian center of the "Russkiy World" Foundation selected participants from Russia and participated in the preparation of the exposition. The head of the Russian Center, Alexander Bushuyev, presented to visitors Russian artists: Alexander Kabanov and Inna Barychev, who are both successors of artists' dynasties, graduates of Moscow art schools, multiple participants of international exhibitions in European cities. As exhibits at the exhibition were presented unique works made in the technique of hot enamel on metal and artistic tapestries.
One of the organizers and curator of the exhibition Lyubitsa Blashkova presented the works of the Ukrainian artist Alexander Belozor, who wrote many of his paintings under the water and got into the Guinness Book of Records.
Slovak artist Miroslav Galko was one of the initiators of the exhibition. He presented his best works, which are made in a romantic style and represent fragments of Slavic myths.
The European Fund of Slavic Literature and Culture supported this humanitarian action, which undoubtedly promotes the dialogue of Slavic cultures, expresses the closeness and commonality of the Slavic peoples.
The exhibition was covered by Slovak mass media - there were journalists and correspondents of various publications. At the opening there were many spectators of different ages, representatives of the city administration and it was especially pleasant to observe children who showed a genuine interest to the works of art.
