On the 16th of January 2018, in the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava, the exhibition of books "Russian writers and Orthodoxy" was opened.
A series of books entitled "Russian writers and Orthodoxy" was published by the publishing house "To the Unity!" of the International Public Foundation of the Unity of Orthodox Peoples. The Foundation was created and is working to strengthen the ties of the spiritual brotherhood of the nations professing Orthodoxy. It has close contacts with the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia in the matter of cultural and social cooperation.
The exposition is represented by publications that were donated to the Russian Center and are now in its library collection.
The exhibited books represent the best examples of poetry and prose works of the well-known authors: A.S. Pushkin, M.Y. Lermontov, F.I. Tyutchev, A.A. Akhmatova, I.A. Krylov, S.A. Yesenin, N.V. Gogol, F.M. Dostoevsky, M.A. Sholokhov and others.
The opening of the exhibition attracted the attention of visitors to the library fund of the Russian Center. They were also interested in the magazines" Russian World.ru"
