On the 26th of January 2018 in the Russian Center of the European Center of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava, a spring semester was opened at the Russian language courses. The first classes were held for children.
Children from 3 to 7 years began to deal in the mini groups. There are also individual classes. The curriculum includes the study of the spoken language, the basics of writing, familiarity with Russian culture. Especially amazing enthusiasm of children was caused by cartoons about Winnie the Pooh and "Nu, pogodi!" (Well, wait!).
Classes are held in a playful form. Children draw, cut out figures, mold out plasticine, collect puzzles. The classes are aimed at the early and versatile development of children.
All teachers are native speakers of the Russian language and have a special pedagogical education received in Russia. The creative approach for teaching children, the benevolent atmosphere and the proximity of Slavic cultures attract not only children of compatriots, but also children from Slovak families.
