On the 1st of April 2019 in the Russian Center of the European Fund of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava, a scientific-practical seminar was held on the topic “Innovative technologies in bilingual education”.
The seminar was held in the framework of the international project "Russian Language for All", which is implemented by the Charity Foundation for the Promotion of the Cultural Heritage Preserving and with the support of the Ministry of Education of Russia.
The seminar program contained discussions on the issues of bilingual education features, problems of preserving and developing the Russian language among compatriots and demonstrated the capabilities of modern digital technologies in education.
The main speaker was the Russian bilingualism specialist for children and adults Ekaterina Slobodyan, author of the book “After three is the right time: The path to adult bilingualism,” the founder of the "Bilingual School".
Workshop participants also spoke and asked many questions. Undoubtedly, such seminars conducted by experts, improve the skills of the participants.
At the end of the event, the guests and participants of the seminar visited the exhibition of the Slovak artist Adolf Benz.
