On the 26th of September 2019 in the halls of the Aircraft gallery in Bratislava, the opening of the International Art Exhibition "Dream and Dreamers" took place.
The exhibition presents the works of Ukrainian, Russian and Slovak painters, as well as the works of students of the painting studio "Petrushka". Works by painters from 9 countries were presented on the exhibition.
The presentation of the "Saksagan" art almanac (Kryvii Rih, Ukraine) and the books of the Ukrainian writer Andrey Duke, published in Russian, also took place. The son of a famous Ukrainian writer continues the best literary traditions of the classical genre in his works. An interesting storyteller, an outstanding person, he carried away the guests with his stories. Many visitors wanted to read his books.
Slovak students who participated at the International Student Festival in Bulgaria prepared performance for the guests of the exhibition. They sang songs in Russian, Ukrainian and Slovak. Guests of the exhibition warmly welcomed beautiful folk songs.
The opening ceremony was attended by employees of the Ukrainian Embassy in Slovakia, the Slovak-Ukrainian Friendship Society, employees of the European Fund of Slavic Literature and Culture, students of Slovak universities, Ukrainian and Russian compatriots.
