On the 1st ofOctober 2019, a seminar on the topic “Innovations in bilingual education.Mental arithmetic" was held at the Russian Center of the EuropeanFoundation of Slavic Literature and Culture.
This methodof quick counting in the mind develops intelligence, memory, imagination andlogic, coordinates the work of two hemispheres of the brain, which leads to anincrease of interest in studying.
The seminarwas conducted by a certified specialist from Surgut - Andrey Skorobogach. Heintroduced the teaching methodology and the pluses for bilingual children,showed tutorials and supporting materials.
On the 2nd ofOctober, open classes were held in two senior classes of the Einstein BilingualGymnasium. The new teaching method aroused genuine interest among students.
