The international forum of Russianists of Central and Eastern Europe “Bratislava meetings” was held for the first time in 2004 and immediately gained authority among experts.
The aim of the forum is a professional discussion of the problems of preserving and popularizing the Russian language as a means of international communication.
The best specialists in the field of teaching Russian as a foreign language and many outstanding personalities from Austria, the UK, Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and other countries take part in the forum.
