As a part of the "Sunday Reading" project, a lesson in Russian on the topic “The potential of our brain. The development of memory and imaginative thinking." was held on February 22, 2020
Children of Russian and Ukrainian compatriots who speak Russian came to the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic literature and Culture in Bratislava.
Children were given an idea of what memory is, its types, individual characteristics of its development. They were told about the importance of memory in human life, about the need to increase its volume.
Children with interest performed exercises in mental arithmetic and the development of imaginative thinking. Then they got acquainted with the methods of writing the presentation without difficulty and with pleasure using the techniques obtained.
Children learned to find "anchor words" in sentences, sketched them and built them into a logical chain. They independently drew up a plan for writing a presentation in the style of a memory card. And in conclusion, they wrote a story about 
Russian nature easily and without much effort, that is why they received a lot of positive charge and expressed a desire to continue studying the usual school subjects with the help of new interesting techniques.
