The coronavirus pandemic, which swept the whole world, influenced the possibility of holding events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory over fascism. They will certainly take place, only a little bit later. But nothing can prevent us from uniting today and congratulating dear veterans, remembering all those who was killed in World War II.
Most of us know about that war from the stories of veterans, books of recollections, and feature films. But nothing conveys the atmosphere of those days better than songs. “Victory Day”, “Katyusha”, “Dark Night”, “Cranes” and dozens of other songs about the war, beloved in the whole world, are translated and performed in many languages.
In the year of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in World War II, on the initiative of the Immortal Regiment of Russia, the international musical action #SongsoftheGreatVictory, #GreatVictorySongs starts.
