On June 8, 2020, the Slovak participants of the International Online Olympiad in mental arithmetic “Akira Battle” were awarded with honorary registered cups and certificates.
OnJune 1, 2020, an online lesson in Russian was held. The topic of the lesson was“Front-line letters”. During the course students read their letters to animaginary front, after 75 years, which they have prepared as homework.
In May, the opening of the art exhibition “Art in War, War in Art” took place at the Museum of Modern Ethnic Art of the Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve, which is a partner of the Russian Center.
On April 23, 2020, an online conference was held on the topic “Prospects for cooperation between Russian centers in Slovakia”.
The conference was attended by the head of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Bratislava, Inna Kuznetsova, the head of the Russian Center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava, Alexander Bushuev, the head of the Russian Center of Presov University in Presov, Lubomir Guzi, as well as teachers and staff of the centers.
On May 11, 2020, an open lesson "Lesson of Victory" in Russian was held for students from the city of Levitse. It was dedicated to the Victory in World War II over the Nazis.
