Open lesson in Russian language and culture “Sunday Readings”

The Russian center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava opens a new project – “Sunday Readings”. The aim of the project is to introduce children and adults who speak Russian or are just learning it to great Russian literature.

Professional development of teachers of Russian Center

Russian Language Courses has been working for 4 years at the Russian Center of the European Foundation for Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava. Every year, teachers develop their professional skills on scientific and practical seminars and conferences of Russian scholars.

From November 7 to 9, 2019, the teachers of the center took part in the III Vienna Forum of Russian teachers of European countries. Participants of the forum held an exchange of professional experience aimed at developing solutions for the use of new forms and methods of teaching Russian language and literature, Russian as a foreign language and teaching different subjects  in Russian.

Art exhibition "My Russian Province" opened in Bratislava

On October 18, 2019, the opening of the “My Russian Province” art exhibition took place at the Aircraft Gallery in Bratislava

The exhibition presents works by participants of the international art symposiums on contemporary art from the stock collection of the Elabuga State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve (Russia, the Republic of Tatarstan, the city of Elabuga).

The exhibition includes 110 paintings and drawings (watercolor, pencil, linocut) of 98 painters.

Students from the city of Levice learned how to celebrate New Year and Christmas in Russia

On November 28, 2019, in the city of Levice, in the gymnasium named after Andrey Vrabla and in the school at the Podlouzhenka, open  lessons of the Russian language and culture were held., At the request of these educational institutions, the Russian center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture organized lessons in the classrooms of the school and gymnasium.

Participants of the International Conference visited the exhibition "My Russian Province"

On November 21, 2019, the III International Conference "Tradeing on the Markets of the Eurasian Economic Union" was held in Bratislava. The conference was organized by the Embassies of Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in Slovakia together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bratislava city and the Bratislava Region.

The life and works of Russian painter Ivan Shishkin

On November 19, 2019, an open lesson in the Russian language and culture was held in the Russian center of the European Foundation of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bratislava. It was dedicated to the life and works of Russian painter Ivan Shishkin.
